Client portal privacy policy

Updated October 8, 2026. This notice covers the San Marcos Polishing & Plating billing and client portal.

Information we use

We use your name, business contact details, job information, invoices and payment records to manage shop work, provide your account history and communicate about billing. Some account records were migrated from the previous shop system.

Sign-in and access

Google sign-in supplies your verified email address and basic profile. Your enabled account must match that email. One-time shop invitations can also establish a private session. Essential cookies keep you signed in. Contact the shop if your account details or access are incorrect.

Service providers and payments

The application uses Vercel hosting and Neon database services. Configured delivery and payment providers process messages or payments on the shop’s behalf. Card entry takes place with the payment provider; this application does not store full card numbers. Shop staff may use an AI assistant to process business information and receipt documents.

Retention and your requests

Billing records are retained for business, accounting and applicable legal needs. You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting sanmarcospolishing@gmail.com. Some records may need to be retained to satisfy accounting or legal obligations. Requests are reviewed by the shop.

Protection

Access is restricted by account, with encrypted HTTPS connections and protected session cookies. Do not share sign-in or invitation links. Contact the shop promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
